According to the IMD, the heat wave situation will remain the same for a few days in some places, while there is also a possibility of rain in some places.

IMD says the heat wave will continue in some parts of eastern India and Uttar Pradesh during the next five days. There is no hope of relief here at the moment.

According to the weather department, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in South Konkan and Goa, South Madhya Maharashtra, and coastal and northern interior Karnataka on June 9 and 10. A new phase of heatwave conditions is likely to begin in North-West India from June 9.

Delhi NCR will also remain partly cloudy and there is a possibility of drizzle at some places. Some places may have increased the temperature but overall the possibility of having rain at mid night.
