New Service: ICICI Bank launches new service for crores of customers

ICICI Bank news: A first of its kind initiative that enables customers to lock/unlock instant access to Internet Banking, UPI, Credit and Debit Cards at one place. ICICI Bank today announced that it has launched “smartLock”, a new security feature that allows its customers to instantly lock/unlock a number of banking services without having to consult a customer service executive over the phone or email. The feature is available on iMobile Pay.

Crores of customers started the new service

Allows customers to lock/unlock access to Internet Banking, UPI (including payments from other UPI apps linked to the bank account), credit and debit cards with just a click of a button, taking the security of their account into their own hands. Customers can use this feature in case of potential fraudulent transactions in their account and cards. It can also be used even if one is not using the service.

The first of its kind in the Indian banking sector, “SmartLock” also allows customers to lock/unlock the entire iMobile Pay. For Log in to iMobile Pay at first Click on SmartLock service on the bottom right corner of the home screen. Click on the banking services you want to lock/unlock. Click on it. Customers of any bank can link their bank account to the app, create a UPI ID and start transacting.
