There are three days left and after that from the first date, many big changes will be seen in the country From 1st July which can directly affect your kitchen to your bank account and Phone number. These include LPG cylinder price to credit card rules. These are directly related to your money.
First change: LPG prices
Oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG cylinders on the first day of every month and changes can be seen in them at 6 am on July 1, 2024. In the recent past, while the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have changed several times, the price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders used in the kitchen of the house has remained stable for a long time. In such a situation, after the recent Lok Sabha elections people are expecting relief in the prices of domestic cylinders this time.
Second change – ATF and CNG-PNG rates
On the first of every month, not only the prices of LPG cylinders are changed, but along with this, oil marketing companies also revise the prices of aviation fuel i.e. Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG.
Third change – Credit card bill payment
After this, there may be problems in bill payment through some payment platforms. These platforms include some fintechs like CRED, PhonePe, BillDesk. Actually, according to the new regulation of RBI, from July 1, all credit card bill payments should be made through Bharat Bill Payment System i.e. BBPS. From then onwards, everyone will have to do billing through Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS).
Fourth change – Sim card port rule
TRAI has been changing the rules keeping security in mind. Now once again the rules related to SIM card are going to change and the date of implementation of this change has also been fixed as 1 July 2024. TRAI has decided to change the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) rule. This rule has been implemented by TRAI to avoid SIM swap fraud.
Under this, you will have to wait a bit in case of SIM card theft or damage. Earlier, after the SIM card was stolen or damaged, you used to get a new SIM card immediately from the store, but according to the new rule, now its locking period has been increased and users will have to wait for 7 days.
Fifth change – PNB Bank account
If you have a PNB account and you have not used it for years, then it can be closed from July 1, 2024. For some time now, the bank has been continuously alerting through social media that those PNB accounts in which there has been no transaction for the last 3 years and their account balance is zero, then to keep these accounts active, go to the bank branch and get KYC done by June 30, if you do not do so, then they can be closed from July 1.
