Indian Roadmaster Elite: There is banging news for bike lovers in the Indian market. American bike manufacturer Indian Motorcycles has launched its luxury tourer bike Roadmaster Elite in India.

The price of this bike has been kept at Rs 71.82 lakh (ex-showroom). Only 350 units of this bike will be made worldwide, which makes it one of the most expensive bikes in India.

Exclusive design and great finishing

Indian Roadmaster Elite is available in only one tri-tone paint scheme, which is designed to pay tribute to the iconic Indian Motorcycle Red Color of 1904.

This paint scheme has a base red candy color, on which dark red and black candy have been layered. The bike also has hand-painted championship gold pinstripes.

The company says that it takes more than 24 hours to complete the paint job. Apart from this exclusive color, the Roadmaster Elite is adorned with distinct Elite badging and an individually numbered center console.

Powerful engine and great performance

The Indian Roadmaster Elite is powered by a 1,890cc air-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With this V-twin unit, the tourer generates a peak torque of 170nm at 2,900 rpm.

Suspension duties are handled by front telescopic forks and a rear mono-shock, while the tourer runs on dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.

Equipped with luxury features

The Roadmaster Elite also features LED headlights and auxiliary LED lights on the saddlebags. It also gets a 12-speaker Powerband audio sound system in the front fairing, saddlebags, and trunk, which also has underglow lighting.

Each storage unit for the trunk and saddlebags is weatherproof and features remote locking from the console or keyfob.

7-inch digital display

The console itself features a 7-inch digital display that offers GPS navigation functionality as well as cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, and other features.

The display with Ride Command+ unlocks features like Apple CarPlay, bike locator, and bike health. The Tourer also features heated grips, ABS, passenger armrest and floorboards, and keyless ignition.
