Indian security agencies are tracking a C-130 plane headed to Delhi, which is believed to be carrying the former prime minister and some of her companions.
According to news agency AFP, she wanted to address the nation, but her security team rejected the offer due to the proximity of the violence. Bangladeshi sources told AFP that her security team asked her for leave and “did not get time to prepare the speech.”
