Hyundai Creta E variant: A big change was seen in the four-wheeler segment in July 2024. Tata Punch, Maruti Swift and Maruti WagonR, which ruled the country’s number-1 position for the last few months, slipped from their positions last month.

Creta remained number-1 in all segments along with SUV. This is the first time after a long time that Creta has become number-1 in the overall four-wheeler segment. The special thing is that Punch, which was number-1 for the last few months, this time also lagged behind Swift and WagonR.

Last month, Creta was at number-1 position among the cars that dominated the market in the country. A total of 17,350 units of it were sold. At the same time, 16,854 units of Maruti Swift, 16,191 units of WagonR and 16,121 units of Punch were sold.

New Hyundai E variant Creta 

Hyundai has launched the New Creta this year. In the first 7 months of 2024, demand for Creta was seen in both domestic and global markets. The new Hyundai Creta, launched earlier this year, crossed the 1 lakh unit mark with the highest monthly domestic sales of 17,350 units in July 2024.

New Hyundai Creta E variant  Features

Talking about the Features of this variant, it gets the same dashboard layout as the other trims. The steering wheel is also the same, but it does not get audio controls. This is because there is no infotainment system on offer. Manual AC is provided with USB ports at the front and rear.

The instrument cluster is fully digital, but it is shared with the i20, Exeter. It does not have the same unit from the top-spec model. Hyundai has provided manually dimmable IRVMs and manually adjustable ORVMs, all power windows, central and remote locking with flip key.

Inside the SUV, front center armrest, rear armrest, adjustable headrest and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, rear AC vent, fabric seats are included.

New Hyundai Creta E variant Specefication

Talking about specification of the E variant of the Creta looks similar to the other variants. Its grille looks full, with the Hyundai logo placed in the middle. It has inverted L-shaped LED DRLs. However, these are not connected like the high-spec model. The headlights get a projector unit with a halogen bulb inside for the low beam and a reflector setup below it for the high beam.

Steel wheels with wheel covers are available. Disc brakes are also available at the rear. The rear gets the same tail light setup as the top-spec model with connected LED signatures. The turn indicators are halogen units and hence lack the sequential swiping function. There are no rear washers and wipers as well.

 

New Hyundai Creta E variant Engine

Talking about its engine, then the new Hyundai Creta E base model can be purchased with two engine options NA petrol diesel. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. In the Indian market, it competes with models like MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrider, Skoda Kushak, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross.
