A tipster, Digital Chat Station, released a Weibo post claiming that the Ace 5 series smartphones could be launched in the Chinese market by the end of this year.
If leaked reports are to be believed, the brand may launch two phones, the OnePlus Ace 5 and the Ace 5 Pro. In a new leak, the tipster has revealed the key specifications of the Ace 5.

OnePlus Ace 5 launch date (expected)
According to leaked reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 smartphone can be launched by the end of the year 2024. Since the Ace 3 has been rebranded as the OnePlus 12R globally, the Ace 5 can be launched as the OnePlus 13R in the global market. However, it is too early to tell!

Display: According to leaked reports, the Ace 5 can be given a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved screen, while the Ace 3 has a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO dual-curved screen. Therefore, we think it will have fewer curves!
Camera: The rear camera setup of the phone can include three sensors, with the primary being a 50MP sensor. Information about other sensors and the front camera has not been revealed yet.

Processor: The phone can be given Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as a processor, while the Ace 3 can have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. 8 Gen 3 is a new chip with more power. Apart from this, the Ace 5 Pro can be equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Battery: According to leaked reports, OnePlus can be given a 6,200mAh dual-cell battery with 100W fast charging support. Whereas, Ace 3 has a 5,500mAh cell. The new battery may have the company’s Glacier technology.
However, the OnePlus company has not yet shared any information about the upcoming phone. Therefore, the leaked reports cannot be completely believed.
