Royal Enfield 350 cc : There was a time when Royal Enfield dominated the cruiser bike segment, but now many other companies making cruiser bikes have entered the market like Jawa and Harley Davidson. Recently, two new cruiser bikes Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa 42 have entered the Indian market for the customers.
The company introduced Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 in a new avatar, while Jawa 42 has been brought with a better engine than before. Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be launched in the Indian market on September 1 next month.
The Jawa company claims that the vibration of the bike has been reduced, gear shifts have been made smooth and gear throttle maps have been linked with the ECU. Classic 350 is offered with 5 speed transmission and wet clutch, while Java 42 is launched by the company with 6 speed transmission and upgraded assist-slipper clutch.
Features
For the convenience of the customers, the company has included Type C charging port, adjustable lever, navigation display and gear position indicator in Classic 350. At the same time, Java 42 has a digital-analog speedometer, the seat has been made more comfortable to improve the riding experience when sitting for a long time. Apart from this, the company has also given a small mini windscreen above the headlamp.
Braking
Both the bikes have twin telescopic forks at the front and twin absorbers at the rear. 42mm forks have been used at the front of Classic 350 while 35mm forks have been used in Java. You will get dual channel ABS support in both the models, Jawa bike has 280mm and 240mm disc brakes, while Royal Enfield Classic 350 has 300mm and 270mm disc brakes.
Price
In the Indian market, the (ex-showroom) price of this Jawa 42 starts from Rs 1 lakh 73 thousand. At the same time, for the top variant of this bike, you will have to spend Rs 1 lakh 98 thousand (ex-showroom). At the same period , the company has currently launch the new Classic 350, the price of this bike will be revealed on September 1 next month.
Engine
This Royal Enfield bike has a 350 cc single air cooled engine which generates 20 bhp power and 27 Nm torque. At the same period, Jawa 42 contain with a 294 cc liquid-cooled J Panther engine which generates 27 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque.
