Ola Electric Bike: Ola Electric is now preparing to dominate the electric bike segment as well. The company has started production of its new electric bike. The recently released teaser shows the side profile of the Ola electric bike, which gives a glimpse of its design. Let’s know its details in detail.
Ola Electric Bike Design
Ola Electric recently showcased four electric bike concepts, one of which is likely to be the production version of the Roadster concept. Some time ago, Ola’s design patents filed in India were leaked, in which the designs of several street naked bikes were seen. It looks like Ola may launch several variants of its bike, which will have different features and styling elements. Ola did the same in its S1 series electric scooter.
When viewed from the side, the Ola electric bike looks like a muscular street naked bike. Some circuitry and other control boards were also visible in the previous teaser.
The bike has a mid-mounted motor, which powers the rear wheels via chain drive. A glimpse of some of its components has been seen in the recent teaser. It has RSU telescopic suspension at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear. Both the wheels of new bike have disc brakes and both wheels are getting 17-inch alloy wheels.
Ola Electric Bike What to expect?
A lot of features and new elements can be expected in Ola Electric’s bike. It can have a 7-inch touchscreen instrument screen, which can have features like Ola Maps, music control etc. The bike can also have a built-in speaker.
The range of the bike can be around 180 km on a single charge, which is close to the S1 Pro Gen II. From the previous teaser, it looks like the Ola Electric bike will be a commuter style bike, whose performance will be equal to that of a 150cc bike. It can be given dual LED projector headlights. As seen in the previous teaser. Its price can be around Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). More information about this will be available tomorrow i.e. on 15th August.
