Tata Sumo: You must remember Tata Motors’ Sumo. There was a time when this car was dominant.

This car was seen running on roads across the country.

This car was also used in many government offices. This vehicle, built in 1994, was built on Tata’s X2 platform.

However, due to the increase in other options including Mahindra’s Bolero,

the craze of Sumo decreased among the people. After which the company stopped its production in 2019.

Now new renders of Tata Sumo have surfaced. It is believed that it is going to make its re-entry in 2024.

Talking about engine, then Tata Sumo had 3 diesel engine options.

Its diesel engines came in 2956cc, 1978cc and 1948cc. All engines are mated to manual transmission.
