BSNL has recently achieved another milestone. In early August, the company had installed 15,000 new 4G sites. The Self-reliant India Initiative has installed these mobile towers.

25 thousand 4G towers went live With these 15,000 towers, BSNL company has made a total of 25,000 4G towers live across the country, due to which users will start getting superfast connectivity.

A report suggests that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited plans to launch its 4G service nationwide in October. The company has begun testing 4G on all of the newly installed towers. In the last few weeks, the company’s user base has seen a tremendous increase.

BSNL 4G Trial

According to a report by The New Indian Express, BSNL will launch its much-awaited 4G services for customers in October 2024, citing a senior BSNL official.

According to the report, BSNL has so far installed about 25,000 4G towers across India. The test results for BSNL 4G have been quite satisfactory. Additionally, BSNL is encouraging its users to swap or upgrade to 4G SIMs so that they can enjoy BSNL’s 4G services.

According to the report, a senior official said, “We have successfully tested our 4G network in all circles and major cities, and the results have been promising. Now it is time to launch our commercial 4G services. We will do some more testing before formally launching 4G services.”

Let us tell you that private telecom companies like Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio are providing 5G service. Vodafone Idea is working to improve 4G coverage gaps and expand its 4G network, BSNL is mainly providing 2G and 3G services, while 4G is available on a limited scale in some areas.
