Nepal Bus Accident: A big and painful accident has been witnessed in Nepal today i.e. on Friday. A bus carrying more than 40 Indian people suddenly fell into the river. So far 14 people are reported dead in this painful accident.
Simultaneously, rescuers have successfully rescued 29 people. According to the police office, 15 people are capable of speaking. The remaining passengers are currently undergoing treatment. The police had initially estimated that there were only 40 passengers in the bus.
DSP Deepkumar Rai of Police Office Tanahun informed that the bus with the number plate UP FT 7623 fell into the river and is now lying on the banks of the river.
16 passengers injured, 14 people died
Following this road accident, relief and rescue operations recovered 14 bodies and safely rescued 16 injured passengers. This bus was transporting Indian passengers from Majheri Resort in Pokhara to Kathmandu.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Ravindra Regmi, the search operation is going on for the remaining passengers. A private hospital has received the rescued individuals for treatment. We have not yet identified the passengers. According to reports, some people are still unable to speak.
Many people are missing
Officials said that the river is also in spate due to heavy rains. The bus carried over 40 individuals, with 29 individuals successfully rescued.
At present, many people are still missing. Nepal Police has said that this accident happened in Tanahun district. The bus is from Uttar Pradesh. But it has not been known yet that which district of UP the people in the bus were from. At present, the accident investigation is ongoing.
