Credit card related rules

According to reports, HDFC Bank will set a monthly reward point limit of 2,000 for utility transactions starting on September 1. HDFC Bank will not give any reward for making educational payments through third party apps.

The minimum amount payable on the IDFC First Bank credit card will decrease from September 2024. From September 1, 2024, customers using RuPay credit card for payment on UPI and other platforms will get the same reward points as those using credit cards of other payment service providers.

Dearness allowance

In September, good news may come out for Central Government government employees. There is a possibility that the government will increase the dearness allowance for employees by 3 percent. Currently, government employees receive a Dearness Allowance (DA) of 50%, which will increase to 53 percent after the 3 percent increase.
