Bangladesh legendary allrounder shakib al hasan achieved one more milestone in his sheer brilliant career. He has now surpassed daniel vettory record to become the highest wicket taker left hand spinner. Shakib Al Hasan had earlier become the first cricketer to 14,000 runs and 700 wickets in internationals.

The exponential growth of left-arm spinners must rank among the striking differences in international cricket between the 20th and 21st centuries.
