In addition, landslides and floods in Himachal Pradesh forced the closure of 40 roads on Friday. In addition to this, there is a warning that rain in Mandi, Shimla, and Sirmaur over the next 12 hours could increase the flood water level. On September 2, authorities have also issued a yellow alert for rain.

The IMD has issued a warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Goa on September 1. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram.

Heavy rains may continue in Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Karnataka. Additionally, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan have issued rain warnings and alerts to warn people.
