E-Shramik Card Scheme is an initiative of the Government of India, which aims to give a digital identity card to unorganized workers, these workers include laborers from various sectors like construction, agriculture and manufacturing.

Insurance up to Rs 2 lakh is available
Currently, the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana provides insurance up to Rs 2 lakh to workers registered on the e-shram portal. Workers do not need to pay premium for insurance in this. In the event of an accident or complete disability, the e-shram card holder receives an insurance amount of Rs 2 lakh.
There are several important requirements to become an e-shramik. For this, first of all, the age must be between 16 to maximum 59 years.

How to register
First and foremost, you must visit e-shram’s official website, register.eshram.gov.in.
Then, on the home page, you must click on registration.
After this, you have to enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card.
Your mobile number will then receive an OTP.
The form will appear as soon as you input it.
Now you have to fill your personal details, qualification and bank details in the form.
Then your registration will be completed.
