Yamaha MT 03: Yamaha has made its mark as a premium motorcycle brand in India. From bikes with 153cc and 125cc engines to scooters, Yamaha has provided all kinds of options to its customers.

Last year, Yamaha launched its flagship bikes R3 and MT-03 in India, which accelerated the trend of multiple-cylinder bikes in the Indian market. Now Yamaha has updated its MT series with new color options.

Color Options

Big MT-03 now has Dark Bluish Gray Metallic (Dark Gray), Deep Purplish Blue Metallic (Blue) and Dark Matte Gray Metallic (Matte Dark Gray) color options available. At the same time, MT-25 is also available in these three color options. These three color options make the sporty look of the bike even more attractive.

LED turn indicator

If you talk about the features of the bike, both the bikes are based on the same chassis and use almost similar design language. Its LED headlights attract the youth a lot. It has LED turn indicators. Both the bikes have street-style handlebars, attractive fuel tank, split seat design and excellent packaging.

What are the features?

The instrument cluster is fully digital, which shows fuel capacity, gear position, coolant temperature, real-time and average fuel economy, trip meter, clock and other data. The Yamaha MT-03 and MT-25 weigh 167 kg, which is much lighter than their rivals. This improves their power-to-weight ratio, which means it gives better performance.

MT-03 Engine Powertrain

The Yamaha MT-03 is powered by a 321cc liquid-cooled engine that generates 41.4 bhp of power and 29.5 Nm of torque with a DOHC setup. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that includes a slip-and-assist clutch. In India, the MT-03 is available in only two colour options Midnight Black and Midnight Cyan.

MT-25 Engine Power

The MT-25 is powered by a 249cc parallel-twin DOHC 4V liquid-cooled engine that generates 35 bhp of power and 22.6Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has KYB USD forks at the front and KYB mono-shock at the rear. A single disc is used for braking. Dual-channel ABS is available as standard.
