Womens Government Scheme: The central and state governments are currently running many schemes to make women self-reliant. In the last few years, women’s participation is also seen increasing towards business.

Some government schemes remain unknown to women. The government has started many schemes including Mudra Yojana, Samriddhi Yojana, Mahila Coir Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Standup India Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to empower women.

Numerous schemes significantly contribute to the advancement and financial strength of women. However, many women are unaware of these government-run schemes, resulting in their ineffectiveness.

Meanwhile, a good news is coming for the women living in Rajasthan. The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) will provide disabled pregnant women with Rs 10,000 from September 1 instead of the current Rs 6500 for their first child.

According to Deputy Chief Minister and Women and Child Development Minister Diya Kumari, disabled women can get more nutritious food during pregnancy and after the child’s birth. Therefore, Minister Diya Kumari has now increased the amount to 10 thousand.

Along with this, incentive amount is also being provided to ensure better health of mother and child and vaccination. An additional amount of Rs 3500 will be sent from Rajasthan Fund through DBT. Apart from this, ‘National Nutrition Month 2024’ has been organized from September 1.

How to get the increased amount

According to Director Integrated Child Development Services OP Bunkar, under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, the first installment was earlier paid Rs 3000 on registration and pre-natal health check-up at Anganwadi Center. They have now raised it to Rs 4000. The second installment of Rs 1500 received on the child’s birth has now been increased to Rs 3000.

The third installment, which covers the registration of the child’s birth and the completion of all vaccines up to the age of 14 weeks during the first phase of complete vaccination, has been increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000.
