If we tell you about the price cut of Maruti Suzuki’s Alto K10 and S-Preso, then the motor vehicle manufacturer informed the stock market that the price of S-Preso LXI petrol variant has been reduced by Rs 2,000 and the price of Alto K10 VXI petrol variant has been reduced by Rs 6,500. Now Alto K10 can be bought just at the price of Rs 3.99 lakh to Rs 5.96 lakh ex-showroom. At the same time, the ex-showroom, Delhi price of S-Preso has now become between Rs 4.26 lakh to Rs 6.11 lakh.
Craze for small cars reduced
Let us tell you here that the sales of Maruti Suzuki’s small cars, which include Alto and S-Preso, declined to 10,648 units in August. A year ago in August 2023, this figure was at 12,209 units. This shows that amid the sale of SUVs of different sizes, the craze for small cars is now decreasing among the customers and instead of buying cheap cars for themselves, people are buying cars like Maruti Suzuki’s Swift, WagonR, Brezza, Francox, Baleno and Dzire.
