Hyundai Kona EV car: Hyundai Motor India has announced the discount on cars in September 2024. This month the company is also giving discount on its car. which it has removed from its website. The company is now selling only Ioniq 5 in this segment.
However, many dealers have stock of Kona EV left. In such a situation. this electric SUV is getting a strong discount this month as well.
Actually, Advait Hyundai is giving a cash discount of Rs 2,00,000 on this car. Let us tell you that the company has also given a cash discount of up to Rs 4 lakh on this.
Its starting price is Rs 23.84 lakh. The benefit of this offer will be available only if the stock remains.
Kona EV is also Hyundai’s first electric model in the Indian market. The company launched it in 2019. Since then it has not been given any update. Kona EV sales have been down for the last several months.
Even a cash discount of lakhs could not increase its sales. There is also a report that the company is bringing Creta EV. due to which it is being discontinued. Not a single unit of it was sold for many months this year.
Features and Specifications of Hyundai Kona EV
Kona Electric will be launched in the market with two battery packs 48.4 kWh and 65.4 kWh options. The company claims that the car will get a WLTP range of 490 km on a single full charge.
The EV crossover will be offered in a standard and a long range model. The car will get features like a 12.3-inch dual-screen dashboard, ADAS, LED lighting and an electronic gear selector.
It has a wraparound front light bar in the front. Kona EV has pixel graphics exterior and sharp lines similar to Hyundai Ioniq 5 as well as split LED headlamps.
The length of the car is 4,355 mm and it is about 150 mm longer than the old Kona. The wheelbase has also been increased by 25mm. The dashboard gets a 12.3-inch wraparound digital driver display just like the Ioniq 5.
Talking about the safety features of the Kona EV, it gets ADAS, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, high beam assist, lane keeping assist and forward collision avoidance assist system.
At the same time. it gets features like Bose’s 8 speaker sound system, keyless entry, OTA updates, heads-up display, connected car technology and power tail gate.
