This delicious traditional Punjabi dish is something the whole family will love. Paneer Tikka is a very good option if you want to make something Indian.

It’s a favorite at many Indian restaurants and can easily be made at home with some basic ingredients. You can easily make Paneer Tikka Masala at home too.

Eat it with butter naan. It tastes very delicious. It tastes good with rice too. This is a North Indian dish.

1. Recipe

Making Paneer Tikka Masala is very easy but it takes time. Paneer has to be marinated and grilled too. Then the gravy is made. Paneer Tikka Masala This recipe is very easy and ingredient-free.

2. Ingredients

A. For Marinating Paneer Tikka

• Paneer
• thick yogurt
• lemon juice
• ginger-garlic paste
• turmeric powder
• red chili powder
• garam masala
• cumin powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil

B. For Masala Sauce

• oil
• onion, finely chopped
• ginger-garlic paste
• finely chopped or pureed
• turmeric powder
• red chili powder
• garam masala
• cumin seeds
• coriander powder
• Salt to taste
• water, heavy cream
• Fresh coriander leaves

3. Instructions

A. For marinating paneer

• In a bowl, mix curd, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili, garam masala, cumin seeds and oil well. Then add paneer cubes. Then cover and keep in the refrigerator for further preparation.

B. For making paneer tikka

• Take a grill pan on medium-high heat and fry the marinated paneer for 3-4 minutes from each side.

C. Make masala sauce

• Take a pan on medium heat and add cumin seeds to it. Wait for a while. Then add onions and fry for 5-7 minutes till it becomes golden brown. Then add ginger garlic paste. Fry the tomato dal till the oil starts separating then add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli garam masala, and fry then add water and fry for 10 minutes.

D. Combine paneer with Sauce

• Put the grilled paneer in the masala sauce and coat it well. You can also add cream and salt just for taste.

E. Garnish and serve

• Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan or with rice.

4. Dhungar

To give a smoky flavor to the dish, this Dhungar method using charcoal is optional. If you want to use this method then do it otherwise leave it.

5. Additional Tips

If you want more taste then you can add fenugreek leaves to it. All this is done by marinating. You can add onion, and tomato paste while grilling paneer.

If you want to eat it more spicy then add more red chillies and you can also add bell peppers and you can add any other lentils as per the taste.
