1. Do not put PIN on any kind of link or request
Let us tell you that nowadays fraudsters trap people in their net by giving tempting offers. They send a link to people by luring them with various types of cash. Through this link, they ask for your PIN to send you lottery or cashback. As soon as you enter the PIN on this link, they steal all the money from your account. In such a situation, do not open any such link and delete it as soon as possible.
2. Create a strong password
While registering for UPI service, take special care to make a strong password. Along with this, it should be such that no one can easily know it. Many people do not use their date of birth etc. while creating a PIN. Create a PIN that no one can easily guess.
3. Be cautious of fraud calls
Many times cyber criminals call people in the name of different offers. After this, they take their banking details, UPI PIN etc. from them. After this, they empty your account. In such a situation, do not fall prey to such calls and do not share your banking details under any circumstances.
4. Keep updating the app from time to time
Keep updating your UPI payment app from time to time. Companies keep bringing various new features from time to time to increase cyber security. In such a situation, always keep the UPI app updated.
