Electricity News: Lakhs of consumers of Himachal Pradesh are going to get a shock of inflation. This shock of inflation will come from the electricity bill because the Himachal government is going to impose two special types of cess on every unit of electricity, which will increase your electricity bill.

10 paise milk cess will be levied on every unit

Actually, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu introduced the Himachal Pradesh Electricity (Fees) Amendment Bill 2024 during the monsoon session of the Assembly on Monday. In which two amendments have been made. Under which there is a provision of 10 paise milk cess on per unit electricity consumption on domestic consumers.
