The story of the film Sector 36 is based on the Nithari massacre in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, which shook the whole country in the year 2006. Both Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal have once again portrayed the horror of real life through their acting.
Where does the story begin?
After recovering a burnt hand from a drain, the entire story of ‘Sector 36’ unfolds. Inspector Pandey (Deepak Dobriyal), who arrives at the spot, along with his two juniors decide that this is a monkey’s hand and the first child to spot this hand is given a prize of Rs 100.
Let us tell you that the child lives in a slum colony next to the drain. A big mansion owned by businessman Balbir Singh Bassi (Akash Khurana) is located across the drain. Bassi rarely stays in this mansion and in his absence his servant Prem (Vikrant Massey) has settled there as if it is ‘his home’.
