Traffic Police: Before going out on a bike, you have to know some important things. If you fail to adhere to all traffic rules, you may encounter difficulties. Did you know that bike drivers now face challans of up to Rs 25,000 due to their negligence?

As a result, riders are encountering numerous challenges. You can see below which mistakes result in a huge challan being issued. Make sure you meet all the standards or you’ll have issues. The Bihar Traffic Police has set some important conditions for this challan.

Two-wheeler drivers are subject to fines.

If bike drivers disregard helmets, illegal number plates, modified silencers, or other regulations, they may encounter issues. Modified bikes or scooters frequently produce excessive noise or violate other safety standards. The police immediately identified them and issued certificates. This policy disregards fines of up to Rs 25,000 for traffic rule violations, potentially leading to significant problems. We are taking especially strict action against illegal modifications, racing, and other dangerous driving practices.

The traffic police have started paying special attention to two-wheelers and bikers who violate traffic rules, especially those who make illegal modifications to their bikes. These include modifications such as modified silencers, loud horns, illegal number plates, and changes to the vehicle’s body.

Serious violations such as driving without a helmet, driving in the wrong direction, jumping red lights, and overspeeding are also subject to heavy fines. The police are also identifying such vehicles with the help of drones, CCTV cameras, and the Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPR).

Special campaigns are being conducted in many places, and the police are taking strict action against those who do not follow the rules. The Challan amount varies depending on the severity of the offense, ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 25,000.

Apart from this, the police have also started keeping a close watch on modified vehicles, as they not only violate traffic rules but also pose a danger to other people. The loud sound emanating from the modified silencer not only causes noise pollution but also troubles people. The police have tightened their stance on modified vehicles, not only by citing them but also by seizing them.

A special checking campaign is currently underway at many locations.

The police are conducting a special campaign at various locations, scrutinizing bikers’ licenses, vehicle documents, and vehicle fitness certificates. If these documents contain any errors, the police are actively conducting challan work. In addition to this, we will take strict action against individuals who drive after consuming alcohol.

The authorities are taking measures such as imposing heavy fines and cancelling licenses. Several cities are implementing advanced technology as part of their Smart City Projects. For instance, the Smart City Projects have installed cameras to generate automatic challans, capturing traffic violations and dispatching them directly to the vehicle owner’s address.
