The Aadhaar Card: In today’s world, the Aadhaar card has become an important document. Today, taking advantage of various government schemes requires this card more than ever.

Many times, when you change your house or address, you must also update your Aadhaar card with the updated information. For this, you also have the opportunity to update your Aadhaar through UIDAI, but you are not provided with the facility to continuously correct every mistake in your Aadhaar.

Aadhaar changes are subject to certain rules. Today, we will explain the number of times you can modify your name, address, gender, and date of birth, as well as the process for doing so. The Unique Identification Authority of India states that you can change your gender and date of birth only oncIf you make any mistakes, you can only correct it once. e.

But you do not get a chance to correct it again and again. To change the date of birth, you will have to go to the nearest Aadhaar enrolment center. For this, you will need a PAN card, birth certificate, passport, bank passbook, and certificate issued by the university. You will also have to fill out the correction form.

Aadhaar card holders have the option to change their name a maximum of two times. This means that once you have changed your name twice, you will no longer be able to do so. If there is a mistake in your name, or if a woman needs to change her surname after marriage, she is not allowed to do this more than twice.

You can change the address on the Aadhaar card as many times as you like. There is no set limit for this. You can easily change your address online by providing valid proof, such as an electricity/water/telephone bill or rental agreement.

You do not need to go anywhere to change your address. Go to UIDAI’s official website, myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/, and log in. Next, navigate to the Aadhaar update option located in the top menu. Now, you need to select the “Proceed to Aadhaar update” option.

Now, select the address on the next page and click on the “Proceed to Aadhaar update” option. After this, your current address will appear on your screen.

Now, the option to update your address will appear. You will have to fill in the details of the new address. After this, you will have to upload some documents.

Now, you need to select both of the check boxes provided below and then click on Next. After this, you will see the payment option. Here, you have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 50. Once the payment is complete, you will receive a receipt. After this, we will update your Aadhaar within a day or two.
