Weather Update: Following heavy rains across the country, the weather has now turned very pleasant. According to the IMD, Delhi and its neighboring areas may witness heavy rains in the last week of September and the first week of October.

According to the Meteorological Department, the continuous heavy rains in Rajasthan for the last 2-3 days have again stopped. The Meteorological Department predicts light rain and thundershowers at certain locations due to the reduction in rain activity in the state.

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in the coming 4 to 5 days. The Regional Meteorological Center in Delhi has predicted partly cloudy weather during the day. The Meteorological Department predicts a maximum temperature of around 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of around 23 degrees Celsius in Delhi.

Rain warning in these states

The weather agency has predicted light rain in central India till September 26. The meteorological department has also predicted “isolated heavy rainfall” in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between September 23 and 25. The Meteorological Department issued a warning for rain in Vidarbha on September 24 and 25.

The IMD said, “Light/moderate rainfall is likely over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands; sporadic to very light to moderate rainfall is likely over the rest of East India and Northeast India during the week.”

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely over Odisha on September 22 and 23 and over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya between September 23 and 25.

The IMD said that light to moderate rain is likely over northwest India till September 26. Hot and humid weather is likely over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on September 20.

 Rajasthan Weather Alert

The eastern part of Rajasthan has received a rain warning for the next 24 hours. We expect the weather in western Rajasthan to remain dry. Meanwhile, continuous rain in Himachal Pradesh has completely stopped vehicle movement on 32 roads. Authorities have issued a ‘yellow alert’ for thunderstorms and lightning till September 25.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected in northern coastal Andhra Pradesh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. Bihar, Jharkhand, southern Rajasthan, and Kerala can also expect light rain.
