Talking about design, then the new Bajaj Chetak looks properly retro, except for the fact that there are a few modern elements on it like LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, etc. The Bajaj Chetak is also the only electric scooter in the Indian market with a proper metal body, which gives it an impeccable fit and finish.

Bajaj Chetak Features

Talking about features, then the Bajaj Chetak electric features a digital LCD instrument cluster. It even gets a smartphone app that enables your smartphone to connect with the scooter. This allows the scooter to receive over-the-air updates and it also allows users to monitor vehicle-related information on their smartphone.

Bajaj Chetak Battery

Talking about battery, then powered by a 3kWh battery pack that sends juice to the electric motor that produces a peak output of 4.08kW. Acceleration from 0-40km/h is taken care of in just 4.5 seconds and the scooter will go on to touch a top speed of around 80km/h. It is the only electric vehicle with steel gear direct drive instead of a belt. The Bajaj Chetak electric has a claimed range of around 90 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack. The 3kWh battery pack takes about 5 hours to charge through a conventional 5A socket.

Talking about price, then Chetak Blue 2903 starts at Rs. 1,11,905. The price for the other variants  Chetak Blue 2903 TecPac, Chetak Blue 3202, Chetak Blue 3202 TecPac, Chetak 3201 Special Edition, Chetak Premium and Chetak Premium TecPac are Rs. 1,11,905, Rs. 1,23,724, Rs. 1,23,724, Rs. 1,50,869, Rs. 1,58,198 and Rs. 1,58,198.
