Updates on Delhi CM Atishi Marlena’s Oath Ceremony: Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi took oath as Chief Minister of Delhi today, i.e., on September 21. LG VK Saxena administered her oath of office and secrecy. With this, Atishi has become the third woman CM of Delhi. Along with Atishi, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Imran Hussain, Sultanpur Majra MLA Mukesh Kumar Ahlawat took the oath of office and secrecy as the new face of the cabinet.
Atishi has become the 17th woman Chief Minister of the country and the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi after Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dixit. Let us tell you that Atishi was the party’s prominent face during Arvind Kejriwal’s stay in Tihar Jail for the excise policy case.
CM Atishi has also sworn in five AAP leaders as ministers in the Delhi government, including Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Imran Hussain, and Mukesh Ahlawat. The swearing-in ceremony at Raj Niwas was simple, but the atmosphere in the party is not happy due to Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation.
Saurabh Bhardwaj was sworn in as Delhi CM Atishi’s cabinet minister. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has administered the oath to Atishi as the new Chief Minister of Delhi.
When AAP leader Atishi took the oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi, opposition leader Vijender Gupta stated that this is a dummy government, with a dummy Chief Minister who will operate from a remote location.
How could Arvind Kejriwal continue to hold the position of Chief Minister, given his criminal background? He should give an account of the last 6–8 months to the people of Delhi, and the government that will run in Delhi for the next 3 months will run from remote.
After becoming a minister in the Delhi Cabinet, Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gehlot said that Arvind Kejriwal’s guidance will always remain the party’s national convener. Our only goal is to work for the people of Delhi, as before, and bring Arvind Kejriwal back.
