How to apply online
Anyone can apply for a PAN card online through the NSDL or UTIITSL portals. By following the online steps, you can have your PAN card delivered to your home. To apply for a PAN card online, you can visit the NSDL or UTIITSL website.
The New PAN option is available.
Select the PAN Card Form 49A option for each individual. Determine whether they are Indian citizens, NRE/NRI, or OCI individuals.
This form must be filled out with the individual’s details.
After submitting the form, the applicant will need to pay the processing fee online or through demand draft. You can begin the form’s processing.
You generate a receipt after paying the fee and submitting PAN Form 49A. It contains a 15-digit receipt number.
Using Aadhaar OTP authentication, you can e-sign the application. Within 15 days of online submission, you can send the Form 49A application and the required documents to the NSDL PAN office or UTIITSL office by courier. Once you courier the receipt number to the relevant office, they verify the PAN number. We generate the card after verifying the NSDL/UTIITSL PAN.

Pensioner card containing the applicant’s photograph.
A photo identity card issued by the Central Government, State Government, or Public Sector Undertaking.
Central Government Health Scheme Card or Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme Photo Card
An original bank certificate issued from a bank branch on the bank’s letterhead and attested by the issuing officer. Such a certificate should contain the applicant’s attested photograph and bank account number.
