Crores of farmers are taking advantage of PM Kisan Yojana. In 2019, the Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to provide financial assistance to farmers. The scheme has sent 17 installments so far.  Now the farmers are waiting for the 18th installment. We may release the next installment in October.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana sends three installments of 2000 to the farmers’ account each year. The release of these installments occurs every four months. We sent the 17th installment of PM Kisan Yojana in the month of June.

According to media reports, in such a situation, the next installment can be sent in October. We have not yet received any official information about this. More than 12 crore farmers have benefited under the PM Kisan Yojana so far.

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the government issued instructions to all farmers to complete e-KYC a long time ago. However, many farmers still have not completed this process. Under the Kisan Yojana, farmers who have not yet completed the work of e-KYC and land verification will not get the money for the next installment.

The farmers in the next installment might encounter difficulties. In such a situation, farmers may incur losses. Therefore, it is crucial to prioritize the completion of e-KYC and land verification tasks.
Farmers can complete both of these tasks by visiting their nearest CSC center.
