Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana
In light of the electricity problem in rural areas, the central government has initiated the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana so that farmers can get water in their fields on time.
Under this, farmers get solar panels on subsidy, so that they can easily produce electricity and irrigate their fields. Under this scheme, farmers can also buy solar pumps. Under this scheme, the Government of India will give farmers a 60% subsidy on the total cost of solar irrigation installed pumps.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
The central government has launched the PM Kisan Scheme to improve farmers’ economic conditions. The scheme sends 6 thousand rupees to the farmers’ direct account annually. Farmers receive $6,000 in three installments per year.
If farmers want, they can apply for Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by visiting the DBT portal. Farmers have received the money for the 17th installment under the PM Kisan Yojana, and farmers are waiting for the 18th installment.
