weather Update:  The weather in India is rapidly changing. The departure of monsoon has started in the country. However, heavy rain warnings are still issued in some states. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on September 25, there is a red alert in Goa, Konkan and Maharashtra, heavy rains are going to occur in some states including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for these states. The IMD said in its latest weather forecast that due to a low pressure system over the West Central Bay of Bengal, heavy rains are expected in the northwest Bay off the coasts of North Andhra and South Odisha.

Today Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some areas of North Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in South Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Rain warning in these states

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, rain may be seen in some areas of Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, southeast Gujarat, South Madhya Pradesh, Telangana during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, light rain can be seen in some parts of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Bihar.

At the same time, an alert has been issued in view of light rain in Northeast India, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, South Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

 Delhi Weather Update

For the last several days, the humid heat in Delhi-NCR has been troubling people. However, today, the mood of the weather in Delhi appeared to have changed. The Meteorological Department reports that Delhi will see light rain this evening. This phase of rain can continue till September 28. There is a possibility of light rain in Delhi for the next two days. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 34 to 36 degree Celsius throughout this week.
