Bajaj Chetak: The two-wheeler manufacturer has been releasing pictures of the upcoming EV for quite some time now, confirming several specifications. One of the pictures posted shows a blue coloured scooter with a front disc brake. The new Chetak will have a sleek yet retro design. In another picture, Bajaj revealed its semi-circular display with turn-by-turn navigation feature, trip and odometer. Lets know its features, range and price.
Bajaj Chetak Design
Talking about design, then it is available in two variants Premium and Urbane. The scooter harks back to its roots by taking design cues from the iconic Chetak and giving it a contemporary and fresh look. It uses sheet metal body panels that offer a premium touch, while the smooth flowing lines, LED lighting and turn signals with sequential blinking similar to high-end cars add to its modernity.
Bajaj Chetak Features
Talking about features, then gets a TFT screen, the latter incorporates an LCD. Bajaj also offers a new optional TecPac package which facilitates the Chetak with a host of connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, onboard music control, call alerts, and theme personalisation options. TacPac also introduces hill hold control and reverse mode.
Bajaj Chetak battery
Talking about battery, then the Bajaj Chetak Premium variant is equipped with a 3.2kWh IP67 rated lithium-ion battery that delivers a range of 126km. This is coupled with an electric motor producing a peak power of 4kW and 16Nm of peak torque. The top speed it can attain is 73kmph. While, the Urbane variant is claimed to deliver a range of 113km and a top speed of 63kmph (73km with TecPac).

Talking about price, then the price for its variant Chetak Blue 2903 starts at Rs. 1,11,905. The price for the other variants Chetak like Blue 2903 TecPac, Chetak Blue 3202, Chetak Blue 3202 TecPac, Chetak 3201 Special Edition, Chetak Premium and Chetak Premium TecPac are Rs. 1,11,905, Rs. 1,23,724, Rs. 1,23,724, Rs. 1,50,869, Rs. 1,58,198 and Rs. 1,58,198.
