Hero Electric has launched the Optima CX 2.0 and 5.0 in India with many updated features. It comes in two variants that are both high-speed (CX) models. When it comes to features, it gets a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, walk assist function, reverse mode, regenerative braking, remote lock with anti-theft alarm, USB charging port, and an LED headlight. It is suspended on a telescopic fork up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Drum brakes control it, and 12-inch alloys at both ends.
Hero Electric Optima CX Battery
The battery is powered by a 550W BLDC hub motor, producing 1.2kW of peak power. It is paired with a removable 51.2V, 30Ah lithium-ion battery pack that takes about 4-5 hours to charge completely. The company claims a top speed of 45kmph. The standard CX claims a range of 82km, whereas the CX ER variant claims a range of 140km.
Hero Electric Optima CX Price
Talking about price, it is available in two variants: a single-battery CX variant priced at Rs 67,190 and a dual-battery pack CX ER variant priced at Rs 85,190. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. In this price range, it will compete with scooters like Bounce Infinity E1, BGauss A2, and Ampere Magnus.
