Its features include unique-looking twin-LED headlights, and LEDs are also used for the tail light and the indicators. It has a 43-litre LED-lit under-seat storage space, a 12-litre lockable glove box with a USB charging port, and a 6-inch light-sensitive LCD instrument cluster. The handlebar also has an extra USB port. Other noteworthy features include a side-stand motor cut-off mechanism, saddle stays, elevated clip-on handlebars, integrated crash bars, hazard lights, and a pair of rider foot pegs.
River Indie Battery
Talking about the battery, the River Indie has a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 6.7 kW (peak) mid-mounted motor. The motor generates 26 Nm peak torque and propels the scooter to a top speed of 90 km/h. The battery takes five hours to charge from 0 to 80% using a standard charger.
Indie has an IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 161 km. It has three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Rush.
River Indie Braking
When it comes to braking, it is supported by two preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the back and a telescopic fork at the front. A 240mm front and a 200mm rear disc are used for stopping, and a CBS (Combined Braking System) is included as standard. Large 14-inch alloy wheels with 110-section front and 120-section rear tyres power the electric scooter. It has a respectable 165mm of ground clearance, but the seat is 770mm high. The e-scooter can cross 300 mm of water with ease.
