Honda bikes: This year is going very well for TVS Motor Company, and last September, it registered a record-breaking increase year-on-year. TVS Jupiter was again the best-selling bike, followed by mopeds like XL and sporty scooters like Ntorq.
The highest increase was seen in the sales of TVS Apache series bikes. However, the company’s popular 125cc bike, Raider, faced a tough challenge from Hero Extrem 125R last September, and the sales of this bike saw a significant decline. Sales of TVS electric scooters also saw a slight increase, but definitely.
How much sales of which bike-scooter
Now, if we talk in detail about the sales figures of the scooters and motorcycles of TVS Motor Company, then in the 30 days of last September, Jupiter sold the maximum number of 89,327 units, and this figure is an increase of 27 per cent year-on-year.
After this, XL100 is in second place, with 44,456 customers, and its sales have increased by about 22 per cent. In third place is the Ntorq scooter, which 33,201 people bought.
Massive increase in sales of Apache bikes
TVS’s Apache series bikes stood fourth place and were bought by 30,038 customers. The sales of Apache bikes have increased by 59 per cent year-on-year. After this, Raider 125 was in fifth place, with 26,923 customers bought, with an annual decline of 36 per cent.
Good sales of electric scooters
Regarding two-wheelers outside the top 5 of TVS Motor Company, the iQube electric scooter is in sixth place, with 24,181 customers bought. This was followed by TVS commuter motorcycle Sport with 14,316 units, Radin bike with 11,266 units, Zest scooter with 9,268 units, Star City with 3,846 units, Ronin with 2,029 units and Apache 310 with 132 units.
