According to the Report, Royal Enfield said that testing revealed that defective reflectors had been found in motorcycles manufactured between November 2022 and March 2023, which cannot reflect light effectively in low light. This can reduce visibility, which can threaten the safety of the rider.

Keeping this in mind, Royal Enfield has issued a global recall. The company says that the reflectors of the affected vehicles will be replaced free of cost. The company further noted that the replacement process will start with customers in South Korea, the United States and Canada. Other major markets like India, Europe, Brazil, Latin America and the UK will follow this.

The motorcycle manufacturer said the reflector replacement process takes only 15 minutes per motorcycle. This process is relatively fast. Royal Enfield’s service team will contact affected motorcycle customers to schedule a replacement for the reflector.
