Bareilly Blast: A sudden explosion in a firecracker factory caused panic. The explosion was so severe that three people lost their lives, while more than half a dozen people were injured. The explosion caused heavy damage to 8 houses built nearby, while 5 houses were razed to the ground. Three houses developed cracks. The death toll may increase further.
The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. As soon as the fire was reported in the factory, the fire department team reached the spot, where the work of extinguishing the fire is going on. State CM Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident and expressed condolences to the deceased. Senior officers of the district also reached the spot, where they took stock of the situation. The Inspector General of Police also reached the spot and inspected it.
The sound of the explosion went up to 2 km
The work of making firecrackers was going on in the house of Rehman Shah, a resident of Kalyanpur village of Sirauli police station area of Bareilly for a long time. People used to come home and work to make firecrackers. Diwali is near, so the order was being prepared. The factory was being run legally. On Wednesday evening at around 3 o’clock, a big explosion took place, in which the house was blown to pieces.
The sound of the explosion was so loud that the whole village shook. Cracks appeared in the nearby houses and some houses collapsed. The sound of the explosion was heard for about two kilometers. There was a lot of screaming and shouting. Three women of Rehman Shah’s family lost their lives in the incident. 5 people have been taken out of the debris in critical condition and sent to the hospital. There is still a possibility of some being buried. As soon as the information was received, the senior officials of the district reached there in a hurry, where they expressed grief over the incident.
Silence prevailed in the village due to three deaths
Three people of the same family died due to a bomb blast in a firecracker factory, after which there was mourning in the village. Everyone ran towards the spot, where three dead bodies of women were lying. Whoever saw three dead bodies together at the spot, his heart broke and tears started flowing from the eyes. The fire department team also reached the spot and managed to rescue the people buried under the debris, who have been admitted for treatment.
