Toyota Urban SUV

Toyota’s upcoming Urban SUV will be based on Maruti Suzuki eVX which will be launched in March 2025. Both vehicles will use the same 27PL Skateboard platform which is a dedicated EV architecture. However, information about the interior of the Toyota Urban SUV has not yet been made public.

 

Several media reports have claimed that the upcoming Urban SUV will likely have the option of 2 battery packs. The larger 60kWh unit can offer a range of about 550 km, while the entry-level variant with a smaller 48kWh battery can provide a range of about 400 km.

7-seater Urban Cruiser Hyryder new version

On the other hand, the 7-seater variants of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser new version Hyder are expected to hit the domestic market next year. Their starting ex-showroom price can be around Rs 15-16 lakh.

Regarding the powertrain, the upcoming 7-seater SUV is expected to retain the current 1.5L 4-cylinder K15C mild hybrid petrol engine and 1.5L 3-cylinder strong hybrid petrol engine.
