7th Pay Commission: The Modi government is going to open the treasury box for central employees and pensioners. The central government can soon increase the dearness allowance (DA) by 4 percent, which will be like a big gift. It is believed that about 1 crore employees will get the benefit of DA.
However, the government has already given the pending DA arrears to the central employees and the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. Now everyone is waiting for when the government will increase their DA. The government has not said anything on the date of increasing DA. In the media reports, it is being claimed before Diwali i.e. till 25 October 2024. To know the details related to DA, you can read the article till the bottom.
DA of employees will become this much percent
DA of central employees can be increased by 4 percent, after which the salary will also jump like a cheetah. The DA of the employees will increase to 54 percent. By the way, at present, central employees are getting the benefit of 50 percent DA. About one crore employees and pensioners can get the benefit of this, which will be like a big gift.
If DA is increased now, then its rates will be implemented from July 1. Earlier in the month of March, it was decided to increase DA. Its rates were considered effective from January 1, 2024. Since then, everyone is eagerly waiting for the DA increase of the next half year, whose time has come to end now. The government can officially announce the increase in DA any day.
8th Pay Commission will not be formed
The central government is not going to constitute the 8th Pay Commission now. Earlier it was expected that the government could constitute a new pay commission this time as well like every ten years. The government has flatly refused to constitute the 8th Pay Commission, which is like a big setback.
The government had earlier constituted the 7th Pay Commission in the year 2014. It was implemented on 1 January 2016. Apart from this, the government has also clearly refused to give DA arrears of 18 months. During the monsoon session, the government had refused to release the pending DA arrears.
