The government has given special facilities to senior citizens so that they can fill their life certificate 1 month in advance. That is, they get the entire month of October and November to submit their life certificate.
What is a Digital Life Certificate
If a person fills out his life certificate online, then it is called a digital certificate. For this, you can submit your life certificate through the site of Jeevan Pramaan Patra implemented by the government. Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the pensioner to submit his life certificate by using the Umang app.
Convenience for senior citizens
If the age of the pensioners is less than 80 years, then they must fill their life certificate between 1st November to 30th November. If you are older than 80 years, then this deadline is available for you from 1st October to 30th November. If you do not submit your life certificate on time, then your pension may be stopped.
Canara Bank provides a video call facility
If you have an account in Canara Bank, then there is good news for you. The bank has started the facility of filling the life certificates of pensioners with the help of video calls from home. With this, now they will not have to go to the bank.
This facility will start from 1st October and will run till 30th November. Those who have to submit their life certificate can already book their slot and submit it.
Pension may be stopped
If you do not fill your life certificate within the stipulated time limit, then your pension will be stopped forever. That is why you are requested to fill out your life certificate on time so that you do not face any problems in the future.
