PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: On 5 October 2024, the 18th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was released by the Central Government in the Washim district of Maharashtra. The Modi government released instalment money to about 9.4 crore farmers. Rs 20000 crore was released for this. There were some farmers to whom the pending instalments were also released.
The previous instalments of farmers who did not get e-KYC done were stopped, but now, after getting this work done, the outstanding money was also released. Main reasons for farmers’ installment getting stuck
Instalment money of a large number of farmers got stuck. In such a situation, the question must arise: what is the reason for the instalment getting stuck? Actually, those farmers who have not got e-KYC done have not benefited from the instalment. The government had already instructed to get e-KYC done, but the farmers took it lightly, so this money got stuck in the middle.
The second reason for the instalment getting stuck is also believed to be not getting Aadhar linking done. In this, you must go to your bank branch and link your Aadhar card to your bank account. If you did not get this work done by going to the bank, then you would have been deprived of the benefits of the instalment. The third reason for the instalment getting stuck is not getting land verification done. If the farmers did not get the land verification work done, then they would not have got the benefit of the installment. Therefore, farmers should get all these works done quickly, after which they will get the installment money.
How many farmers got the benefit of the installment
According to government data, about 12 crore farmers are registered with the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Now only one of the husband and wife is getting the benefit in the scheme. The government has removed some ineligible people from the scheme. In this way, money has been released to 9.4 crore farmers in the 18th installment. On October 5, the money was released by organizing a program in Washim district of Maharashtra.
