IAS Success Story : Ayush Goel has cracked the toughest exam like UPSC without any coaching. Ayush worked hard day and night and achieved All India Rank (AIR) 171 in Union Public Service Commission. Ayush prepared for 1.5 years for 8 to 10 hours every day through internet and books and succeeded in UPSC exam. Earlier, Ayush used to work in a job with an annual salary of Rs 28 lakh. He left his comfortable job to prepare for the UPSC exam.
Educational Qualification of Ayush Goel
Ayush Goel has studied from Government School, Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Delhi. Ayush has scored 91.2% in class 10th and 96.2% in class 12th. After that, Ayush completed his graduation in Economics Honors from Delhi University. After that, for further studies in AYUSH, he qualified CAT exam and then obtained MBA degree from IIM Kozhikode, Kerala. After this Ayush Goel got a job in JP Morgan that too for Rs 28 lakh.
Ayush Goel’s UPSC Preparation
Ayush wanted to prepare for UPSC but his parents were not happy with his decision. Then Ayush left his job of Rs 28 lakh and then he took a loan of Rs 20 lakh and started preparing for UPSC. Ayush prepared for UPSC by staying at home and that too without coaching and he used to study for 8 to 10 hours daily. Ayush faced many difficulties and achieved 171st rank in a difficult exam like UPSC and now he has become an inspiration for many students.
Father Owns A Grocery Store
Ayush’s father’s name is Subhash Chandra Goyal who runs a grocery shop. His father took a loan of Rs 20 lakh and sent him to study at IIM. After that, Ayush got a job of Rs 28 lakh per annum due to which his parents were very happy and breathed a sigh of relief. But after 7 months Ayush left his job which made his parents very upset. After that, Ayush’s hard work paid off and he qualified the UPSC exam.
