Latest Rain Alert: Monsoon has almost left most of the areas of India, where people have got great relief from torrential rains. From North India to South, the temperature has started to drop slightly. Not only this, in the hilly areas of the northern states, cold is also being felt in the morning and evening.

On the festival of Dussehra, some parts of the country witnessed rain today, due to which traffic was disrupted due to waterlogging at many places. Apart from this, torrential rains continue in the northeastern states, due to which the temperature has dropped. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in many states of the country for the next five days.

There will be heavy rain with thunder in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains have been recorded in some states for the last 24 hours. Apart from this, there are chances of rain in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Maharashtra during the next two days. There is a possibility of return of monsoon in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim.

There is a possibility of rain in these parts in the coming days. The weather is expected to remain clear in the plains of western UP, Uttarakhand.

There will be heavy rain in these areas

According to the IMD, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal between October 14 and 16. Along with this, heavy rains have been predicted in Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal for the next 5 days. Heavy rains may continue in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalisama from October 14 to 17.

A warning of torrential rains has been issued in South Interior Karnataka till October 16. Along with this, heavy rains are expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Andaman and Nicobar Islands in eastern and northeastern India. Heavy rains may continue in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra in the states of western and central India. Heavy rains are also expected to continue in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh.
