Check by holding it in your hand
First, hold a spoon of desi ghee in your hand and wait for about a minute. If the ghee is pure, it will start melting. But if it is fake ghee, it may take a lot of time.
Pan test
You have to heat a pan on a high flame. Now, put a spoonful of ghee in this pan and wait a little. If the ghee turns brown, then understand that it is accurate. But if the ghee is yellow, then it is fake.
Test with salt
To test with salt, you must heat one spoon of Desi Ghee. After this, add a pinch of ghee to it. It will not change if it is real ghee; if it is fake, it will change.
Freezing test
To do the freezing test, you must heat a little Desi Ghee. Then, store this cooked ghee in a glass box inside the fridge. If it is real ghee, its color will not change,; if it is fake, it will change.
Water test
You have to take water in a bowl, add one spoon of Desi Ghee to this water, and mix it well. The real ghee will be seen floating in the water, and the fake ghee will settle down in the bowl.
