The Kawasaki KLX230 is powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke single SOHC fuel-injected engine with 233cc. The engine delivers a peak power of 18.1 PS  and maximum torque of 18.3 Nm. The company has included a wet multi-disc clutch along with a 6-speed manual gearbox for an unremitting transmission.

The engine consists of a bore of 67 mm, stroke of 66 mm, compression ratio of 9.4:1 and is in conformity with the BS6-2.0 emission standard. It is chain-driven with a perimeter structure of high tensile steel.

Instrument Console: totally digital, showing speed, fuel level, odometer, and clock. Ride gets easier with the possibility of calls and SMS, so it becomes alert. It comes with two modes, Road and Off-Road. 

The rider can alter between both due to a need for terrain. Switchable ABS will make sure it will be safe, and passenger footrests are along with the bike for smoother ride, even more convenient.

This off-road bike is equipped with LED lights for the head lamp, taillight, and indicators in order to ensure better visibility while on the road. Besides, it comes with new Uni-trak suspension at the back that is adjustable for preload, and 37 mm telescopic forks at the front for phenomenal shock absorption. 

The bike has spoke wheels along with tubeless tyres for greater grip and durability. The braking system has disc brakes for both the front and back wheels for effective braking performance.

Kawasaki KLX 230 will be launched in India from 2025 January . It will cost about Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom). This ride has a fuel tank capacity of 7.5 liters while the kerb weight of this ride is 139 kilograms. The ground clearance of this ride will be as great as 265 mm.
