The MT 15 V2.0 is available in two variants, the regular and the full ‘street’ version, priced at Rs 1,68,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The on-road price in Delhi would be around Rs 2 lakh. On the other hand, the Yamaha R15 V4 comes with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,82,600 in Delhi, meaning that the on-road price would be Rs 2.16 lakh. Engine and Performance

The two motorcycles share the same 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine. Power remains the same for both, though, and is 18.4 PS. There is a slight edge taken by the R15 V4 in torque as the latter churns out 14.2 Nm, whereas MT 15 produces 14.1 Nm. Both the engines provide an excellent smooth ride both over city roads as well as highways.

Fuel Efficiency

The MT 15 V2.0 returns the mileage of 56.87 kmpl in the city, while the R15 V4 offers 55.20 kmpl. So, if mileage is at the forefront of your consideration list, then the MT 15 V2.0 is slightly better; however, the R15 V4 does a bit better on highways.

Body and Design

Both these bikes fall under the sports category, but each is designed differently. The MT 15 V2.0 has been carved out in naked sports design; it looks quite aggressive, and the R15 V4 has a fully-faired design, which enhances its aerodynamics and gives it a more sporty kind of look. Dimensions and Weight

It is slightly shorter in length and height but wider than the MT 15 V2.0. The MT 15 V2.0 has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters, while the R15 V4 can hold 11 liters, making it much better for longer rides.

Braking and Suspension

Both bikes are given a 282mm front brake and a 220mm rear brake, which gives them a decent stopping power. The R15 V4 gets dual-channel ABS as safety, whereas the MT 15 V2.0 has single-channel ABS. The suspensions of R15 V4 include inverted forks at the front, which makes it quite stable during cornering.
