Who can get a family identity card
Family Identity Card can be made by any family that is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. For this, all the members of the family must have an Aadhar card. Also, an Aadhar card should be linked to the mobile number.
How to apply for a Family Identity Card?
You can apply for a Family Identity Card in two ways:-
Online Application: You can apply online by visiting the Family Identity Card Portal (familyid.up.gov.in). During the application, you have to give your name, mobile number, and Aadhar number. After this, registration will be completed through mobile OTP and a captcha.
Offline Application: You can also fill out the application form by visiting your nearest tehsil office, development block office, or any Public Service Center (CSC).

Priority to families with special needs
The government has ensured that families who do not have ration cards also get the benefit of government schemes through the family identity card. Also, disabled people, widows, old age pensioners, and beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be given benefits on a priority basis.
