A minor PAN card is a special type of PAN card that is made for children below 18 years of age. It does not have a photo and signature of the child. When the child turns 18, it is mandatory to update the PAN card, in which the child’s photo and signature are added.

How to make a Minor Pan Card

1) Go to Google and search for the NSDL website and click on the first link, which shows “Online PAN Application.”.

2) Select the option of “New PAN-Indian Citizen (Form 49A)” and select “Individual” in the category.

3) In the applicant information section, fill in the information like the child’s full name, date of birth (DOB), mobile number, and email ID. Fill out the given captcha and submit the form.

4) On submitting, you will get a token number. Make a note of it and click on “Continue with PAN Application Form.”

5) Select the “Forward application documents physically.”

6) Enter the last 4 digits and name of the Aadhaar card.

7) After this, upload the parent details, income details, and the required documents. After completing all the steps, submit a fee of Rs 107.

Verification and PAN Card Download: After the verification is complete, you can download the PAN card online. It takes about 15 days.
